The Lady and the Bird is a story about kindness, sacrifice, selfishness, and loneliness. Mrs. Johnson believes that kindness is as simple as saying ‘hi.’ However, her neighbors don’t share this attitude. Mrs. Johnson considers the visiting birds her friends, but little does she know, birds can be as prideful, mean, and uncaring as her neighbors. But one bird actually does care about Mrs. Johnson and decides to show her a sacrificial love.
